The Appenzeller brewery, today, is one of Europe's largest producers of certified Bio beers - beers produced according to the standards of certified organic labels, using untreated natural ingredients only.

Appenzeller is certified by most renowned "Knospe" of Bio Suisse, the leading Swiss organic label.
 

Appenzeller Beer is available in green glass one-way export bottles (330ml) with crown-cap closure or in brown glass bottles (500ml) with flip-top closure (not for airfright delivery and only partially suited for shipping)
